Union Station Could Use Some Landscaping imagines a Denver where nature has begun reclaiming the city, with two bison grazing among the overgrown grounds of historic Union Station. Passenger pigeons forage in the grasses while a hawk circles overhead, creating a scene that feels like a vintage photograph from an alternate history. The painting is playful on the surface, but also reflects on what we’ve lost and what might happen if we made more room for the wild.
